I'm glad you're considering it! From my personal experience with it, I'd say it's the best program for low-poly/voxel models, especially for Minecraft and Hytale creation. As for the difficulty, I'd say it takes a bit of time getting use to the layout, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly with some consistent practice.
