Hiya yall! (I'm from Texas too... Well i wish because my dad was military but i was born there!)

Yep, Sandbox Galaxy is currently a solo-dev project of course built on foundation of PMC codebase. All site pixel art and icons are created by me, and planet icons use a varying mix of custom work and AI-assisted tools. Now that the platform is live, collaborating with pixel artists who can see the vision becomes much more feasible including further iteration on existing planets. As the galaxy continues to expand some planets won't have a final logo or any initially.

Looking ahead, I could see planet visuals becoming more community driven over time. As a planet’s community grows, fans of that game could submit planet logo variants that rotate periodically.

The only real baseline requirements would be that submissions are pixel art, sized within 250×250, and clearly display “Planet {GameName}” Beyond that, it would be an opportunity for each planet’s community to help shape its own identity.

It's hard to tell what games/planets are going to have a following here. Hopefully that also become clearer overtime and maybe new planets won't have custom logos until there is reasonable activity to justify creating one.

Edit: 2/4/26 Connected with a pixel artist to work on our Planet Logos. They are currently working through queue of other commissions. Ideally, they'll be able to create and update going forward.
