It doesn't need to be in the exact spot where the badge is but it does need to be clearly visible.     Also check out the blog again because I added BBCode for displaying the badge properly so you don't need to figure it out. If you use the code exactly how it is without changing it you're sure to be following the conditions (as long as you're actually a member ofc). :)
