in her heavily damaged state, she's reduced to a head dangling from a makeshift body made of cables, GLaDOS acts much more erratic and unhinged, she also still kills people heavily. Her design also shows shes hanging by a thread, as most of her parts have fallen off. The plan is for the player to slowly but surely put her back together by getting different cores from different testing courses, at some point she completely rebuilt herself and her lair.
