Propose a New Planet
Sandbox Galaxy is designed to grow.Over time, new planets will be introduced, each centered around a sandbox, survival, or creative game that brings its own tools, styles, and communities into the galaxy. This thread exists so you can help shape what worlds come next.
Whether it is a game you already love, one that is gaining momentum, or a creative sandbox you think deserves a home, this is the place to suggest it.
What Is a Planet?
A planet is a dedicated hub for a specific game or creative sandbox. Each planet can support:- Game focused content such as builds, skins, mods, maps, models, resource packs and blogs
- Discussion and collaboration
- Events, challenges, and shared discovery
- A community identity you can follow and participate in
How to Propose a Planet
Reply to this thread with the following. No need to be formal.- Game Title
- Why it belongs in Sandbox Galaxy
Creative depth, building tools, modding potential, or community appeal - What kind of content you imagine people sharing
Optional but helpful
What Happens Next?
Not every suggestion will become a planet right away. Some ideas may:- Spark discussion and interest
- Be revisited later as the galaxy grows
- Influence future expansion plans
Think of this as planting seeds. Some worlds are already forming. Others are waiting to be discovered.
Thank you for helping shape the future of Sandbox Galaxy.
We are excited to see what worlds you want to explore next.

Infinity Nikki [free to play]
transforms traditional dress-up mechanics into a deep, open-world creative sandbox, with house building and photography aspects.
Creative Depth
DIY Workshop: A comprehensive system of styling your outfits that includes dyeing hair and clothes, changing special effect and colors, adding makeup and jewelry. You can combine different pieces of clothing for personal expression.
Snapshot Hourglass: An advanced photo mode allowing players to capture dynamic moments with filters, poses, environmental controls and expressing their emotions. Can be used alone or together with friends, capturing amazing moments. You can share your camera settings as codes (lighting, filters, etc).
Building Tools - Home Island Housing System:
Construction Mode: Players can place walls, roofs, furniture and edit the colors and sizes. There's free rotation (360 degrees).
Advanced Customization: Tools allow you to clipping items together, free rotate 360 degrees, and resize them to create unique structures like treehouses or bridges.
Terraforming: Higher levels of "Construction Ability" unlock the ability to landscape the terrain, allowing players to reshape the island as they want. There's a lot of varieties of trees, flowers, mountains to place and combine together.
Modding & Community Appeal
While direct modding of the game's code is not officially supported due to its live-service nature, the developers foster community creativity through built-in sharing features:
Design Sharing: Players can share their custom dyeing schemes and housing presets via QR codes or sharing codes, allowing others to import their designs.
Co-op & Social Hubs: The game supports cross-platform co-op, where friends can explore together, visit each other's custom-built islands, and participate in joint photo sessions.
Content Sharing
I imagine players would share their unique outfits using codes system, so as House Schemes codes (includes full island of builds) or individual designs such as furniture combined into a small schemes. Sharing / taking photos together, showcasing specific settings of camera and sharing the codes to them as well. Creating community events like Styling using a specific item of clothing or color pallets.

Minecraft
Minecraft! Yes, PMC exists, but... It would still be nice to have here for the people who don't want too many accounts. My suggestion would be to limit the content to not include downloads, so PMC remains the center for that. Minecraft screenshots and art sharing would be nice to have a planet here for.
Terraria!
Some other sandbox games that I have, people may want to share screenshots and art of, a few even allow mods and build download sharing: Animal Crossing NH, Stardew Valley, Dinkum, House Flipper 1 & 2, Town to City, Planet Zoo, etc. There's a lot of sandbox games!

Same! I love minecraft!
YES ACNH and terraria
While I'm here, I'll also put forward Terraria as a potential planet. Mainly bc I'm surprised it doesn't have one already.
And also because 1.4.5 releases tomorrow :DDD
Palia [free to play]
brings relaxation and friendly community activities without high-stakes combat or competition. Allows you to gather materials, complete quests and upgrade your skills alone or together with friends. Build a house of your dreams.
Creative Depth
Creative expression in Palia is centered on the home plot and personal skills.
Aesthetic Freedom: High-quality art and a relaxing atmosphere, travel the world, gather resources and don't worry about anything.
Relationship Synergy: Allows you to bond with NPCs through unique quests and gift-giving, which unlocks new lore and exclusive recipes for your home.
Skill-Based Progression: Besides building there's eight core activities — cooking, gardening, hunting, furniture making, fishing, bug catching, mining, and foraging. You can do it all together with friends. Cooking mechanics are my personal favorite to do together!
Building Tools - Home Plot System:
Construction: Players use a modular system to add "prefabs" like extra rooms, porches, windows and fireplaces to their main house. The rest of the decorations are free to place and recolor. There are wallpapers and floors to color inside and outside the building.
Plot Grid: You can toggle between a standard grid and a free-placement mode, allowing for intricate layering and "clipping" of decor items.
Building Blocks: Special blocks act like furniture but have unique snap points, allowing players to build custom structures like stairs, lofts, archways or even pixel art.
Housing Add-ons: Recent updates introduced "Estate" lines and customizable windows, roofs, and wall styles.
Freedom of building: You can unlock up to 10 plots where you can express your creativity. There are also purchasable landscapes to set to your plots as backgrounds.
Modding & Community Appeal
Palia doesn’t support traditional game-modding, but it is built entirely around social interaction.
Home Tours: Allows players to list their plots for others to visit, rate, and draw inspiration from, fostering a "designer" culture.
Shared Activities: Resources are shared if you play together, meaning if you mine a rock with a friend, you both get the loot. This eliminates competition and encourages cooperative play.
Content Sharing
I imagine players would share their house designs and tricks to glitch some furniture into something unique. Also I see people would come together into teams and do activities to gather resources for home plots. There are no physical copying of the builds as maps unfortunately, so that would just look like a bunch of screenshot sharing and possibly videos.

I agree with both of these, especially Nikki! I think it’d be super cool to share pictures of outfits and houses in blog posts, and farm set ups in Palia!
Can we get portals for Garry's Mod, Palworld, Stardew Valley, and Sandboxels?
Whoa, Sandboxels looks wild! Never heard of it until now and I'm hoping Sandbox Galaxy helps with game discovery. +1 discovery
In time, yes to all listed. Things are still settling and I'm unsure of the release rate of new planets. I'm hoping to find a reasonable balance but part of me wants to release a solar system of planets and let the balance come from observations and growth.

sandboxels is like if sandspeil had more stuff and was on steam instead of browser
sandboxels was originally (and still can be played on) browser!
sandboxels is in browser too but you can play it on steam too
ping
heck yes my goat
I think Garry's Mod, Lego Worlds, SimCity, ARK: Survival Evolved, Subnautica, and Palworld will be good additions to Sandbox Galaxy.
I think minecraft would be good. XD
Minecraft should definitely be added to SBG. However, Minecraft has its own planet.
Idk if it's possible to have two Minecraft planets. You also have to log in to two (different) websites. Maybe it would be better if they linked PMC to SBG, instead of creating a second Minecraft planet.

But if they add Minecraft, I'll be totally happy! :)
Okay. :)
OH MY GOSH I just realized that PMC is Minecraft's planet! Thanks for pointing that out, I take it back. :)
Garrys Mod was just charted. Out of your other suggestions are there any that you would personally share content with the community?
That's great! :) I don't know. I haven't played those games yet, but if I were to play them, I would definitely share some content with the community.
terraria, deltarune, stardew or undertale?
Terraria!
Yes, please!!
Same idea as WileyKitKat, I'd love to have Terraria as an option! With its finally update arriving tomorrow, I think it would also be a nice surprise for those big into the game. For those who may not know the game, it is a 2D sandbox game with much focus on many aspects such as the tools, enemies, and more importantly, the building potential. Despite the game nearing the end of its development, I believe this would be a great candidate due to its features and its high popularity.
Vintage Story
Garry's mod is pretty cool. Lots of mods and other doohickeys you can make (and level saves kinda like minecraft)
Playermodels, items, characters, yadda yadda
(check it out here)

i feel like garry's mod would be a very popular planet lol

i know the game people playground isn't suitable for children, but i think it'd be really cool because a lot of people make really cool mods for it
It certainly look like it fits the creativity requirement for a planet. Sandbox Galaxy isn't only for children but you're right, that game has higher tenancy toward themes that we're not going to allow here (torture, gore).
We don't have a NSFW flag and introducing one would mean we do allow NSFW content, which I would much rather the community share more innocent creativity. If I added a planet for a game like people playground, I would have to subject all submissions to the greenlight system to review whether it's allowed to go live and probably frustrate publishers.
Overall, I plan on keeping SBG relatively clean in terms of adult (18+) content. It won't be quite as strict as we are on Planet Minecraft depending on the context BUT overall, adult games, content & mods can be found on other modding platforms.

that's fine lol. i don't think anyone on her knows how to mod it anyways lol
I completely agree. Why expose the site to that?
I have never played it personally, but farming simulator is a sandbox game that people like, I could totally see people making blogs and stuff about it!
